Warning Light / Level Flashing Strobe Round, Purelux

Purelux Strobe Round is a stylish flush-mounted warning light/floodlight designed specifically for use as part of heavy-duty equipment and machinery lighting. In flush mounting, the body of the luminaire is recessed into an opening, leaving only the front of the luminaire and the lens visible. The Strobe Round can therefore be mounted either in an existing recess in the vehicle, or in its own place, for example in the bumper, rear or side of the vehicle. Thanks to its small size (diameter only 36 mm), the Strobe Round fits neatly and unobtrusively into the vehicle structure, but when the lights are switched on, no one will miss it. The warning light is equipped with four orange 3W LEDs and has 12 different modes of operation.

Strobe Round is approved for road use according to ECE R65XA1, which means it can also be used in traffic outside the construction site. The wide operating voltage allows the luminaire to be connected to both 12V and 24V systems. The stylish appearance combined with the compact size ensures that the warning light practically fits into any vehicle. Strobe Round is also radio interference protected to the R10 standard. Two-year (24 months) warranty!

Multiple lights can be connected to operate together if desired, allowing the lights to be synchronized with each other. This allows, for example, the attention lights of a large vehicle or a working machine to flash at the same time in the same operating mode, thus providing uniform lighting. The lights can be synchronised by connecting the yellow wires from the light to each other. If, in addition to the yellow, the white wires of some of the lights are connected to the power supply (+), these will always light up when the others (without the white wires) are switched off, and vice versa. In this way, the lights can also be synchronised so that they flash at different rates, i.e. alternate. In this way, for example, a large number of lights can be made to flash, say, half at different times from the other half. Of course, alternation can be activated with just two lights.

NOTE! Synchronization works with the same lights, i.e. all Round Strobes can be synchronized together.

Installation guide

Connection

• Red: Power (+)
• Black: Ground (-)
• Yellow: Sync, mode change, reset
  • Sync: Select the same operating mode for the lights to be synchronized, then connect the yellow wires of the lights together. This way, the lights will flicker at the same rate, and change mode (all together) when the mode of one light is changed.
  • Switching mode: Apply power (+) to the yellow wire, causing the light to change mode. Can be implemented by a switch (the wire is connected to a battery or other power source, with a push-button switch in between)
• White: Alternating synchronisation
  • Alternating synchronization: If, in addition to the yellow one, the white wires of some of the lights are connected to power (+), these will always light up when the others (without the white wires connected) are off, and vice versa. In this way, the lights can also be synchronised so that they flash at different rates, i.e. alternate
