Purelux Black Square Flood 40W is a high-end, compact but powerful LED work light designed for challenging conditions. With a wide beam, it is ideal for applications where you want to illuminate the immediate area of a work machine or off-road vehicle, for example, as widely and evenly as possible. Despite its small size, the Black Square Flood offers an impressive 2811 lm (measured) luminous intensity and a 53 m range (@ 1lux), which is the absolute top of its size class. Thanks to its small size (only 81 x 75 mm), the Black Square works perfectly in tight installation spaces, while the modern, dark reflector optics ensure that the luminaire looks good in even the most modern vehicles. A top-quality, impact- and weather-resistant aluminium body combined with a virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lens ensure that despite its small size, the luminaire is at home in tough working environments.

Unlike traditional work lights, the Black Square series has a lens that is fitted to the body so that it comes practically flush with the body at the front, leaving no ‘threshold’ for snow, sleet, sand and dust to collect on the edges of the lens. In addition, the new reflector technology has reduced glare from the work light by directing the LEDs from the top and bottom of the luminaire to the reflector. The luminaire is suitable for both 12V and 24V systems. The pleasant, neutral 5000K colour temperature ensures that the level of alertness remains good and the lighting does not strain the eyes even during prolonged working periods.
